These terms and conditions together with your completed sign up form create the basis of setting up your registered website user account through which the World Breeding Federation for
Sport Horses ("WBFSH", "we" or "us") will deliver website user services (the "services") to you.
The WBFSH is the International Federation of Sport Horse Studbooks.
In order to access registered user only information on the wbfsh.com website, you must be a registered user account holder.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before registering for a user account. In consideration of us accepting your registration to become a registered user you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the wbfsh Website Acceptable Use Policy. You should also note that these terms and conditions set out obligations to other website users, and those users may be able to enforce their rights against you under these terms and conditions.

To become a registered website user, follow the user sign up instructions on our website.
When you submit your online website user registration to the WBFSH, you are making an offer to subscribe to a WBFSH registered website user account, which, if accepted, will result in a legally binding contract for the first full year.
When does your user account start? Our acceptance of your registration will take place on the date that we send you an email confirmation that your registration has been received.
This is the date that your registered user status begins (‘Start Date’).
When does your registered WBFSH user account terminate? You may terminate your registered WBFSH website user account at any time by unsubscribing from it.
Your account will automatically renew annually. At the point of renewal of your registered user account, acceptance of the renewal is confirmation of the continued acceptance of our terms and conditions and acceptable use policy.
Your rights and privileges. You will be entitled to all the rights and privileges set for a WBFSH Registered Website User.
Changing these terms and conditions. The WBFSH may, from time to time, change these terms and conditions. We will notify you at least 30 days before such changes apply to you. You may unsubscribe from your registered user account if you are not happy with the changes we ask for.
These terms and conditions will always apply. These terms and conditions override any contrary terms or conditions published in relation to any Registered Website User subscription between you and us.
We will email your account details to you. We will send you information relating to your account (e.g. renewal notice, changes in password, confirmation messages, and notices) in electronic form only; for example, via emails to your email address provided during registration.
As a registered user of the WBFSH website you will receive a range of benefits such as:
We reserve the right to change the benefits that apply to WBFSH registered website user status at any time without prior notice, but you have the right to cancel your user account as laid out in these terms and conditions should we do so.
Any external providers of a benefit included within your registered user account package will have absolute discretion in relation to the provision of services, and registered WBFSH website user status does not guarantee that the external provider will accept an application from a registered WBFSH website user for the provision of services.
Services supplied by an external provider will be subject to the provider’s own terms and conditions, and we do not accept any liability for loss or damage suffered as a result of a fault, error or omission in the provision of these services.
We reserve the right to change our external providers without prior notice and our decision on services provided is final.
Your registered website user accOunt will start on the Start Date and can be terminated by you at any time.
Your account will automatically renew unless you tell us. The account will auto-renew, unless you unsubscribe from it.
We may terminate you registered website user account at any time if:
Termination for whatever reason of the registered website user account under these terms and conditions shall not affect:
When your registered user account benefits stop. Your registered user account benefits will continue for the duration of your account will end on the day that your account is terminated.
Reinstating a lapsed user account. If you have already been registered WBFSH website user and wish to re-instate your account, please log on to the “My WBFSG” area of the site and follow the instructions.

We will respond to any complaint or query received within five (5) working days. This may be an acknowledgement that we have received a complaint whilst further investigations are carried out.
Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you. If we fail to comply with these terms and conditions,
we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking the agreement or our failing to use reasonable care and skill.
Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen.
We will be liable to you under certain circumstances. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors, for fraud or fraudulent activity.
This agreement is between you and us. The registered user account made under these terms and conditions is between you and WBFSH only.
In the case of minors under 16 or vulnerable adults, the terms and conditions of the account and the acceptable use policy are binding on the nominated parent, guardian or carer.
You cannot transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement. You may not transfer the contract or any rights and/or obligations under it to anyone else unless we agree.
We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation. We may transfer our rights and obligations under the contract to another organisation. We will contact you to let you know if we plan to do this. If you are unhappy with the transfer you may contact us to end the user account at any point.
If a court finds a part of this agreement illegal, the rest will continue in force. If any court or competent authority decides that any of the provisions of these terms and conditions are invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the term will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Even if we delay in enforcing the agreement made under these terms and conditions, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms and conditions, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking the agreement, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
Which laws apply to this agreement and where you may bring legal proceedings. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the registered user account in the courts of The Netherlands.
Your rights in your country of residence area unaffected. These terms and conditions will not limit any consumer protection rights that you may be entitled to under the laws of your country of residence.
